Hello and welcome, let me tell you about myself. . .

My name is Megan LaForge (Morris), I was born in a small town in Colorado near the beautiful Rocky Mountains in 1987, but I was raised in the amazing Grand Canyon state, Arizona.

When I was a young girl, my parents took me just about everywhere they went and thus experienced the beautiful country of ours. My dad would tell me stories of my grandfather and how he photographed many beautiful sites working as a photo journalist. Hence, at an early age, I guess around the age of 10, I began to see the world through the eyes of a camera.

  In 2003, I took classes in high school using film cameras and using self printing dark room equipment. The three years spent in high school, I learned techniques and improving my photography. My favorite photos are of landscapes and animals. Recently I have branched out to portraits of people and their pets. I love what I do and I will never know all there is to know about photography~there is ALWAYS something new to learn!

  All my photos are taken with natural lighting, meaning I don't haul around light equipment! I mostly do pet photography, but I am more than happy to go beyond just pets such as family photos, engagements, and seniors.
